The Whitman County Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for homeless pets and facilitating adoptions. Because we are not law enforcement or animal control we cannot respond to reports of animal cruelty, neglect, or abuse.

Reporting Animal Abuse or Neglect

If you witness animal cruelty, neglect, or abuse, please contact the local law enforcement agency where the incident is happening immediately. They are the appropriate authorities to handle these situations and have the legal authority to investigate and take action.
